I had the pleasure this morning to try on a DeMarco watch. The craftsmanship is impeccable which you clearly see in the details. What really impressed me was how it felt on the wrist. The weight was perfect and it felt good to wear it. It was smooth getting the watch on and off with the push button clasp. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great timepiece.

The scalloped bezel is gorgeous in person, reminding me of the new pilot models from Junghans and of course, the infamous Seamaster 300. The sunburst dial is exquisite, and even under a loupe, I couldn’t find any issues under the crystal. Execution is flawless. It’s comfortable, legible, and at $345, I’m not sure there’s a better option in this genre. I do have a Speedtimer, the SSC813, which I bought for about $330, and I think they are neck-and-neck in terms of quality, but also wrist feel.

In the end, this is absolutely unreal for a first attempt and a first attempt that ships at $345. I’m absolutely tempted to buy the salmon dial options that I initially purchased and changed to blue because of the sunburst finish. Had to see it in person. Mike DeMarco was so gracious, so helpful, and so responsive from ordering to arrival, and I think he’s got a winning brand on his hands.
